Rosalia

Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. From her teens, she's embraced the edges of traditional and popular music. In addition, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and well-known musician, has described the sound of the young singer as sweet and sharp however with a bite. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success after her first album Los Angeles was released in the year 2017. This album won an award from the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. She collaborated with many musicians and producers including Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set was released following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to perform alone on the popular program. Along with taking home three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
