Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana is a lover of Tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. Ana began learning and singing the piano with her mom, and commenced more serious vocal training when she was 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, and a young professional, she was a part of numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. In 2000 she moved back to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions and performs classical Latin American Music. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in numerous community projects because of her love and love for music. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for the opportunity to share her passion and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to instill a sense of particularly among the younger generation to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
